Elnaz started her PhD in July 2024 with a focus on market access, pharmacoeconomics, health technology assessment, and the economic evaluation of pharmaceutical products and treatment strategies, including cost-effectiveness analysis and cost-benefit analysis. Her research will be conduct on optimizing resource allocation of medicine and technology and improving healthcare decision-making processes. Through her research and professional activities, she intends to advance the field of health economics and make a meaningful impact on healthcare policies and practices.

She holds her second master’s degree in health economics from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, where she focused on pharmacoeconomics, and cost-effectiveness analysis on the issue of antimicrobial resistance and infectious disease from a healthcare system perspective for her final thesis. Also, a master’s degree in international business administration from the University of Tehran, Iran, focused on marketing strategy.

Before her academic pursuits in health economics, Elnaz has seven years of professional experience as a medical representative worked in oncology and neurology medicine, working in the marketing departments of pharmaceutical companies. This experience provided her with a strong groundwork to identify the economic challenges associated with pharmaceuticals and the healthcare system.

She enjoys spending time with family and friends, writing in her diary, and sports. Additionally, she is passionate about podcasts and hosts her channel on Castbox.
