Charlotte Traeger is a postdoctoral fellow at the KPM Center for Public Management. She is part of the team of Prof. Claus D. Jacobs. Her research focuses on how organizations tackle large and complex social problems, such as refugee influx and homelessness. Her research has been published in leading academic and practitioner outlets, such as Human Relations, International Journal of Management Reviews, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Voluntas and The Conversation France. Before joining KPM, Charlotte Traeger was a senior research associate at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, where she worked with Professor Johanna Mair and Christian Seelos on the topics of Grand Challenges and homelessness. She holds a PhD in Organization and Human Resource Management from ESCP Business School (Berlin). Prior to her academic engagement, she worked for several years in multinational companies, such as Louis Vuitton, Coca-Cola and Beiersdorf.
