Maja Hegemann is currently doing her doctorate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Adrian Ritz since September 2023. Her dissertation project focuses on the digitalization of public administration in Switzerland. The research project focuses primarily on implementing public policies using digitalized procedural elements as well as potential impacts on the various public administration stakeholders. Before her doctorate, she already worked as a research assistant at KPM.
She studied cultural studies focusing on political science at the University of Lucerne and received her bachelor's degree in 2021. Continuing on from this, she completed her Master's degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Administration at the University of Bern in August 2023. She also spent one semester at the University of Bologna as an exchange student during her master's studies.
