Within the context of doctoral studies, doctoral candidates must generally provide required transcripts of grades for all doctoral level courses/seminars, amounting to at least 24 ECTS credits. If passed, courses and lectures taken at well-estsablished, recognized institutions offering doctoral degree programs may be counted without grades according to their respective levels, even if transcripts are not provided upon request. A maximum of 50% of the required credits may be accepted without grades. The credits earned are documented in a Diploma Supplement.
The completion of more extensive and cohesive programs (30-60 ECTS credits) is recorded in the Diploma Supplement.
The doctoral program is organized together with the IDHEAP and USI and is funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).
